The following article is a reformulation of a fieldwork conducted in the spring of 2016 in Rome, among a group of political militants of the extra-parliamentary left. The objective of the research has been to analyze the thought of nine of them, concerning issues related to squatting and social movements involved in the topic house rights. The aim is to demonstrate if the initial hypothesis derived from the literature review find correspondence in the life experiences of the interviewees, through the combination of life story and a method called “ethnography of thought”.
